Who benefits from ROF?

a.)  Institutions of higher education and training where Afrikaans is one of the mediums of instruction.

b.)  Schools and training institutions responsible for general education and training and where Afrikaans is one of the mediums of instruction.

c.)   Pre-primary schools and schools for pupils with disabilities where Afrikaans is one of the mediums of communication.

d.)  Afrikaans-speaking children in school hostels and residences that comply with the requirements for registration in terms of section 18A.

e.)  Teaching staff, teachers and trainers whose home language is not Afrikaans, but who are fluent in Afrikaans and who use Afrikaans as a medium of instruction, and students who, as far as possible, are prepared to receive instruction in Afrikaans.
